ABOUT US
Chris Cavazos offers 30 years of experience in various executive level positions as an accomplished and respected leader in health and wellness industry. He most recently held the position of Principal and Chief Operating Officer at Harris, Rothenberg International (HRI), a pioneer and acknowledged leader in the field of Employee Assistance and Work-Life Programs. Chris was integral in the positioning of HRI by Humana, Inc. a Fortune 75 Company, in 2012. When Humana acquired HRI in 2012, Chris became Chief of Operations for Humana’s Wellness organization, including Employee Assistance Programs, Work-Life, Personal Health Coaching, Biometric Screenings and Health Promotion Consultation services to Humana’s commercial and Medicare populations.
Prior to his role at HRI, Mr. Cavazos held Division President and Executive Vice President roles at ValueOptions, one of the nation’s largest privately held specialty managed behavioral health organizations.

Mr. Cavazos earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration with an emphasis in Health/Behavioral Health Services Administration from the University of Memphis. He has behavioral health clinical training and holds a Master of Science degree in Social Work from the University of Tennessee. His Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology was obtained from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss).
